Outward Bound Oman – mobile exhibition for the Omani Ministry of Education
The brief set by Mark Evans, Director at Outward Bound Oman was to make images that best communicate what the charity does, the terrain OBO work in and how they change young people’s lives through outdoor learning.

The proposal. The Outward Bound Oman exhibition will be designed to be reused in future as a travelling exhibit. This was a challenge flagged up by the Patron of OBO, His Highness Sayyid Faisal bin Turki Al Said recently and by the Omani Ministry of Education with Outward Bound Oman. The plan is to devise a small mobile, outreach exhibition that can be carried around Oman and set up in government schools, colleges and shopping malls throughout the country to raise awareness of what OBO is, what it does, and how it prepares Omani young people to enter the world of work. It will be lightweight and portable with text in Arabic and English below each image.

Delivery. The finished mobile exhibit was presented at a drinks reception and talk at the Anglo-Omani Society in London on 23rd April 2015. It followed two government school courses, one boys school and one girls school through their expeditions, highlighting the powerful work of Outward Bound Oman.
